The imagePRESS V1000’s new POD- SURF fixing technology lets you switch between heavy and light media within one job, and still print at the maximum speed of 100ppm. Consumables — media, toner and toner waste — can all be changed without stopping the printer. Automatic alerts tell
you when they’re running low, avoiding unscheduled stops or slowdowns. And you can get device status information in real time from any location.

New technology for high-quality image transfer
A truly innovative new take on sheet transfer technology creates the optimal transport path for every sheet, thin or thick, by making the positions of the secondary transfer roller and back-up sheet variable, depending on the weight of the media. Because the secondary inside roller moves and changes position, this makes it easier for the media to peel off from the image transfer belt.
New integrated cooling unit
An innovative new built-in cooling system cools the heated media immediately after fixing by up to 25%. Efficiently removing heat from the media maintains high production speeds and minimises waste. Sheets won’t warp or stick to each other, or brick if you must leave the job standing. The result is pristine, flat sheets for optimum quality and no loss of productivity.
